Get your ternos and your barong ready: December in Toronto is packed with Filipino events you won’t want to miss.
From sizzling Filipino food pop-ups serving lumpia, lechon, and halo-halo-inspired desserts, to cultural nights filled with carols, folk dances, and parol-making, Canada will almost feel like home this holiday season.
Just make sure to bundle up, it’s cold in T.O.
We’ve also spotted a special screening of a Filipino movie that’s perfect for date night or barkada bonding: bring a box of Kleenex, “meet, greet & bye” will 100 per cent make you ugly cry.
With Maricel Soriano and Piolo Pascual as leads, this movie will tug at your hardened and calloused puso. No judging.
Plus there’s a fundraising concert featuring local Pinoy artists raising money for a good cause back home and in Canada.
Whether you’re a newcomer, second-gen, or simply Filipino at heart, our December roundup of Filipino events in Toronto will help you eat, sing, and celebrate your way through the holidays—para talagang Pasko sa Pinas.
The following events and their descriptions are from their social posts or websites.

Pasko sa Kultura: Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025
Hosted by Kapisanan Philippine Centre for Arts & Culture
Pasko sa Kultura is a Filipino winter arts festival celebrating Filipino/a/x Canadian identity, arts and culture.
Pasko sa Kultura marks this generation’s arts and culture movement, championing the Filipino/a/x community, forging new pathways for Filipino/a/x creatives to rise up in the Toronto scene.
After a brief hiatus, Pasko sa Kultura returns in an intimate, heart-forward way.
This year’s festival features Kislap ng Kapwa (Spark of Shared Humxnity), a parol installation created through community workshops led by multidisciplinary artist Maria Patricia Abuel, alongside curated performances, a cozy vendor market, and specialty foods from all your favourites.
Seeds of Solidarity: Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025
In case you missed it, we invite you to celebrate the holidays with us, in solidarity with Filipino farmers.
Hosted by Pinay Collection & Kanto, this pop-up brings together Filipino food, art, and education to honor the struggles of peasant communities who feed the Filipino people while facing land dispossession, climate disasters, and state repression.
In this one of a kind Filipino holiday pop-up, enjoy a curated menu by Kanto, featuring dishes inspired directly by the stories of Filipino farmers; shop Pinay Collection’s unique Filipino merch dedicated to Filipino peasant communities and more.
